Scott's dad, Herbert passed away in 1988 when Scott was 16. His dad loved sailing and though Scott's plan to buy a boat for his father never came to fruition, he's always had the perfect name in mind. When Scott won the highest bid for a contest held through @makeawishamerica to name one of our beers, he figured it'd be the perfect homage to dad.
